GAZ M20 "Pobeda" (1946) - DeAgostini/IST Models

GAZ M-20 "Pobeda" (pobeda[rus]=victorie) a fost produs in Uniunea Sovietica intre anii 1946-1958. S-a produs sub licenta si in Polonia sub numele de Warszawa. A primit numele de Pobeda intr-o perioada cand victoria URSS-ului in WW2 parea probabila.

Vopseaua are mici imperfectiuni sub forma unor umflaturi.

GAZ M20 "Pobeda" (1946) - DeAgostini/IST Models

GAZ M-20 "Pobeda" (pobeda[rus]=victory)  was produced in the Soviet Union between 1946-1958. It was also produced under license in Poland, named Warszawa. It was designed in the first '40s by the engineer Andrei A. Liphart, and first tests were conducted at the GAZ plant. It received the name of Pobeda in a period when the victory of USSR in WW2 seemed probable. Pobeda was successfully exported in other countries, Romania as well. It had a 4 cylinder, 2.1 liters engine, 50 bhp, and it could reach 105 km/h. Some years later, from Pobeda derived a 4-doors convertible and a 4x4.

I wished this scale model very much. It was my favourite from the Hungarian colection, after Dacia, of course. It is ok realized, with all the specific details. The paintjob has some small errors, blisters. The taillights are poorly done, chromed and painted with red over the chrome.  The dashboard is is well done, but not painted, nor visible gauges.
